Mee-Ka

I adopted Mee-Ka when she was 2 years old. She had been dumped at a shelter in a box with holes poked in it with 2 other puppies when she was about 10 weeks old. A week later she was adopted and stayed with them for 18 months. She was then surrendered bavk to the same shelter and stayed in a crate for 5 months due to her being a flight risk. She was skinny, had swollen feet, very little hair, and was emotionally shut down when I brought her home. She wasn't potty trained or leash trained and was aggressive toward everything and everyone. After much patience, love and understanding, she has blossomed into the girl she is today. She is still fearful, skittish and aggressive toward my husband if she has food, but I will continue to show her that not all people hit.......she has been my little girl for 31 months now and will never again feel what she endured in her past.
