TaterTot

The local sheriff confiscated TaterTot and his littermates from the home of a backyard breeder after a neighbor complained. The mother dog was being given only one cup of kibble per day; one puppy had already died. TaterTot and his remaining siblings were so hungry that they were sucking on each other's toes. Tater still has bald spots on his feet where the fur will never grow back. We are grateful to that neighbor, the sheriff, and to Oldies but Goodies for taking them in and finding foster homes for them. Without them and our dog's "fairy dogmother" of a foster, who raised him from about 12 days old until we adopted him at 8 weeks, he would not have survived. He's brought love, laughs and a bit of chaos to our home. Even his cranky Boston terrier sister kind of likes him now.
