Chara aka Kiki

Chara is a sassy Cattle Dog/ShihTsu/Chihuahua mix. We adopted her 4 1/2 years ago and it took 3 days before we could touch her because she is fear aggressive. Food helps her overcome her fears sometimes. She doesn't like people (much like her "mom") and lunges and barks and tries to herd them by biting at ankles and knees. She is great with her family, but new people are tough. Once she likes someone, she loves them. She loves other dogs and does well at daycare because the staff worked hard to get to know her.
